The Planning Department administers and regulates land and property use in accordance with the Village’s Comprehensive Use Plan. The Planner works with residents, property owners, and developers to ensure compliance with village land use ordinances and zoning regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing zoning permits for new construction and development projects, conducting subdivision and rezoning reviews, maintaining official village maps and providing guidance to the public on land use and development requirements.
